MWES Basket and Bag Bingo 2010
Food! Fun! Friends! Fabulous prizes!
Friday, March 19, 2010. Doors open at 6:00pm; games begin at 7:00pm.
Invite your adult neighbors, friends and relatives for a great night out. Longaberger baskets and Vera Bradley bags stuffed with amazing prizes. Raffles, auctions, bake sale and other food. Limited tickets will go on sale in February 2010. Donations of prizes to the PTA are charitable donations. Contact Karen Buron to duscuss donations, underwriting opportunities and letter of thanks/tax receipts. MWES Magnets on Sale in Front Office
Maybe you have seen some cars with the new MWES oval magnet. Would you like one? The MWES PTA is selling these magnets with the help of the front office staff. Magnets are $1 each. Show your school spirit and purchase a magnet today! Magnet image.
MWES Mondays at Jilly's
Everyone needs a break from cooking once in a while. Why not take a break and earn money for MWES PTA? Starting December 7, the first Monday of the month will be Manor Woods night at Jilly's (Enchanted Forest Shopping Center). From 5p-9pm, Jilly's will donate a percentage of all sales to the MWES PTA. Thank you to Jilly's for supporting our school!
Reading Campaign
Please help foster a love of reading in your children by supporting the MWES Reading Campaign. October begins the 6-month long Book It Program sponsored by Pizza Hut. Calendars are sent home each month. Your child should color in each day when s/he reads for 15 minutes (Gr. K-2) or 20 minutes (Gr. 3-5). Students who submit calendars with 20 or more days colored in will receive a coupon for a free one topping Personal Pan Pizza from Pizza Hut. Other class contests will be announced throughout the year. For more information, contact Carol Kressen.

Recess Walking Program:
Students wil start walking during recess on Tuesdays again in the spring. Ask your child where they are going. Destinations and miles to the destinations were presented to the students. Will they reach their destination? Keep on Walkin'...Fitness for Life!!
